Mushrooms

Posted by Sam Hayes On Thursday, November 26, 2009
I've been working on my last concept , the Mushrooms. Below is the image so far. I have finished the foreground (The cliff on the right and the large tree on the left) I need to work on the background (The cliff) and introduce the mushrooms. The idea is that the large plain in the middle-ground will be full of different sized mushrooms and trees.

hi Sam a little tip, if you desaturate the background it will look as the rock is far way and it gives a good sens of depth... also dont forget at a long range details wont be seen in the mushrooms...

    Hey Ruben

I just de-saturated the back of the image and it's works perfectly, makes it seem much further away, thanks a lot for that! (and Leo)
