Maya Progress

I haven't worked much on Maya today, I was too busy pelting snowballs, but I've managed to create another quick building for my scene. Below are some renders of it, I still need to texture the lower story. The glass will be reflective so in the final scene it shouldn't be visible inside.

    Evening Sam,

I experienced some 'tutor terror' when I read you'd u-turned conceptually... shame, because I think the barn idea was a good one - BUT, you're clearly working very hard to manifest your deserted London idea, so I wish you well with it and I look forward to seeing the finished image... did you watch The Day of the Triffids adaptation over Christmas? More London-based apocalypse...

Hopefully the U-turn will pay off and create a better result! I did see the Triffids adaptation, I thought it was very well done, it kept more or less true to the book while being faster-paced for TV.

I think it was probably the tipping factor on changing my concept as well, all that catastrophy and destruction.
